The Black Riders Liberation Party is a militant anti-racist communist group formed to be the modern day Black Panther Party.〔http://sfbayview.com/2013/09/to-serve-the-people-black-riders-liberation-party-new-generation-black-panther-party-for-self-defense/〕 The group was created by Bloods and Crips gang members in side a California prison. The prisoners became politically aware and sympathetic to the old Black Panther Party.〔http://www.workers.org/ww/1999/aryana1125.php〕 After leaving prison General T.A.C.O. (his nickname, standing for "Taking All Capitalists Out") created the party and began organizing in Los Angeles. The group supported many of the old Black Panthers' Ten Point Program, adding new adjustments for the modern era, and some ideological corrections. The party have recreated many old Black Panther programs including a program to watch police officers, and the old survival programs. Many chapters of the organization currently exist across the United States. The group often hold May Day protests to show their support for the communist movement.〔http://laist.com/2012/05/04/black_riders_liberation_party_say_t.php〕 Their marches are often involve the open carry of firearms, although violence never occurs.
